{Dress and Sweatshirt: Forever21, Heels: Jessica Simpson}
Sometimes it's fun to dress up a rather simple sweatshirt with a more glitzy skirt. In this case it's a dress, this gold sequined mini dress is too short for my taste to wear alone, so I folded over the top and wear it as a skirt! Sequins are a great addition to spice up your wardrobe this season. Screen printing was all over the runways for fall/winter. I've loved this sweatshirt from the moment I saw it, it says "young wild and free" with a rather glamorous looking girl in big sunglasses. There's something liberating about thinking you're young, wild and free... I have to admit, it makes a lot of things seem possible. It's fun to keep the phrase in mind, as I am in school and deciding what I want to do with the rest of my life!
P.S.-I'm not entirely sure what I think of this ensemble... I'm dying to hear your thoughts!
This is a super cute outfit, but I think that red pumps would have been a better choice for shoes. I mean, if you're going to wear a sequened dress and a sweatshirt, why not go all out and have a flash of color too? (:
