{Bracelets and sweater: Forever21, White T-shirt and Black maxi skirt: B.P.}

Sometimes nothing sounds better than hanging out in my room with a movie and something hot to sip on. Today was one of those days. My ultimate comfy lounge outfit is a super soft t-shirt, maxi skirt or yoga pants, and a warm sweater. Usually, I toss my hair up in a bun and call it good. I love these bracelets because they dress things up a bit if I end up having to go out to get another movie. I scored an amazing deal on these silver bangles, only $5! Granted, they probably won't last forever, but will do just fine for the time being. What's your favorite lounge attire?

 {Mosaic candle I found on sale at Pier 1, currently sitting atop a stack of books on my night stand. So pretty!}

 {These are meant to hold jewelry but I think I like them as decorations, however, I have yet to find the perfect place for them.}

 {This book is a great way to dress up your coffee table! I love fashion books and I have many of them. This one is about 100 unforgettable dresses over time, obviously, but it also talks about the way each dress was made, and the stories behind them.}
{A cuff I bought this weekend at Forever21. I'm currently obsessed with it and find myself trying to wear it with everything!}

{We bought these shower curtain rings a while back, but I still love them! They add extra sparkle to the bathroom, which is always needed!}

{Leather jacket: Topshop, Jeans: True Religion, Scarf: Forever21, Purse: Deena and Ozzy}

Like I've said before, I love scarves that add an interesting aspect to an outfit. I found this one while on a downtown Seattle shopping spree and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites! This messenger bag is at the top of my fav's list because of it's edgy feel and the fact that it's very functional. Whether I'm with the kids I babysit, running errands, or out with friends, my life never stops. However, I keep my necessities together thanks to this great cross body bag. If you're going to invest in a faux leather jacket (and I suggest everyone does) take a look at the selection at Topshop! I snagged this one online and couldn't be more pleased with it. How do you wear your favorite leather jackets?

 {All ingredients needed!}
 {Cookie dough, my favorite part of making cookies!}
 {Pressing down the cookies with a glass}
 {Flattened cookies ready for the oven}
 {Vanilla frosting mixed with red food dye}
 {Fresh out of the oven!}
{Finished cookies; DELICIOUS!}

I don't think there is an easier recipe for cookies than this one, it only needs three ingredients! It uses cake batter which makes the cookies unbelieveably soft and moist. I used to love the super soft pink cookies from the store, and now I'm beyond excited that I can make them on my own! I'm thinking of doing variations of this cookie for upcoming parties. Maybe adding peanut butter to a chocolate recipe, or making themed ones for the holidays. Either way, you HAVE to try these soon! What is your favorite cookie recipe?

{Boots: Journeys, Chambray shirt: Rubbish, Belt and Headband: Forever21, Scarf: H&M}

I love pieces that make an outfit; statement pieces. This scarf is extactly that, I got it while on my trip to England this past summer. The tangerine adds to an interesting (and warm!) aspect to the ensemble, keeping it from being boring! Two of the rings are from Seattle's farmers market (always a great place to find handmade, intriguing jewlery) and the other is from my grandmother. Belting an otherwise loose, unflattering shirt is a great and easy way to cinch in your waist at its smallest point. These over-the-knee boots are always my first pick for shoes during the fall/winter season. I have to refrain from wearing them everyday!

While I can't say that I was a fan of Olivia Palermo's behavior on The City, the girl has amazing style! Every time I see a photo of her in a magazine or online she is wearing an outfit that is effortlessly chic. Whether she is running errands or going to a lunch with friends, she always appears put together. The all-black ensemble, that she is seen wearing above, is a perfect example of how all-black doesn't have to be boring! She incorporates different textures (a great fur vest) and a couple of great accents. The more formal black dress, shown above, is from Paris fashion week. (Something I am determined to attend one day!) I love the neutral short dress as well, it's so girly!

{Boots: Minnetonka, Bag: Steve Madden, Jeans: 7 for all mankind, Shirt and Necklace: Forever21}

First of all, let me begin by saying, MOSS IS VERY SLIPPERY! I nearly fell off of this tree trying to stand up on it! With that said, I think this tree is beautiful, it has such character... It reminds me a bit of The Lion King for some reason. This bag is one of my absolute favorites, it's very versatile and holds all of my things! The boots are another fall staple that make a statement. Choker necklaces are back in full swing lately... thank goodness they're not the same ones I wore in middle school, those were horrible and not the least bit chic. I love this gold option from Forever 21. Have any of you tried a choker necklace with your ensemble lately?

         {Dress, Booties: Target, Leopard bag: Steve Madden, Blazer: Nordstrom, Necklace: Forever21}

 I bought these booties on a whim while shopping at target this weekend... sometimes you find a deal that is too good to pass up! I own quite a few blazers, but this one stands out as a classic, chic shape that goes with everything. Washington state can have some depressing weather during the fall and winter months. Although, when you get clear and crisp days like this one, it makes living here during all of the gloomy days worth it. I can't complain about a sunny Monday!

{Dress & Bracelets: Forever21, Green Jacket: Nordstrom, Brown Jacket: H&M, Boots: Aldo}

I can never keep a straight face, as seen in the first picture (me, mid-laugh). On this Sunday my best friend and I went out for a little photo shoot with my new camera... only to find out I didn't have a memory card, so we could only take a few photos. For this look we tried to toughen up the light feel of the maxi dress with these great cognac combat boots from Aldo. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to wear the green or brown jacket, so we shot both! What do you think? I couldn't be happier with either of these go-to fall outfits! I hope you all had a good weekend!

Post The Simple Life with Paris Hilton, Nicole has come into her own style quite beautifully. I love the leapord booties shown above, and the black lace dress which was worn on NYC's fashion night out. She can pull off tough, rocker looks and her classic bohemian style effortlessly. House of Harlow has a multitude of jewlery that could be paired with virually any look. So chic!
